Когда
мы строим каркасные постройки или делаем ремонт в доме, то всегда стоим перед выбором: какие метизы
использовать для крепления конструкций — удобные крепкие саморезы или привычные гвозди. На первый взгляд, кажется, что подойдут оба, но есть ситуации, когда конкретный
метиз использовать не рекомендуется. Давайте попробуем разобрать, какие плюсы и
минусы лежат в основе этих двух типов крепежа и когда оптимальнее выбрать
конкретный из них?
Для
забивания любого гвоздя достаточно иметь обычный молоток (хотя давно есть более производительные решения — гвоздезабивные пистолеты). Чтобы
закрутить саморез, потребуется шуруповерт. Конечно, можно использовать и
отвертку, но если их много, удобнее работать со специальным инструментом. Саморезы
можно закручивать практически в любом месте (есть гибкие биты), где махать молотком
затруднительно или не разместить нейлер. Саморезы отличаются высокой прочностью и надежностью, их
легко можно выкрутить при необходимости и использовать повторно. И еще неявный плюс саморезов по дереву: они неплохо справляются с вибрацией конструкции.
Гвозди, в отличие от шурупов и саморезов, могут выдерживать значительные линейные и осевые нагрузки, обеспечивая при этом
надежные соединения. В соединении получается надежный прижим материалов друг к другу, гвозди не особо боятся
воздействия внешних факторов, что делает их лучшим решением при выполнении каркасных и кровельных работ. Основной недостаток гвоздей — это их низкая устойчивость к
вырывающей силе, что снижает надежность удержания материалов вдоль оси. Хотя есть виды с насечками на стержне. Однако, это можно частично компенсировать, используя косое забивание или загибая конец
гвоздя. И еще они часто ржавеют на открытом воздухе (нужно использовать оцинкованные).
Гвозди
изготавливаются из мягкой стали, что позволяет им выдерживать нагрузки на
срез. Хотя гвоздь немного деформируется, он продолжает удерживать доски.
Саморезы более хрупкие (так как сталь прошла закалку) — под нагрузками на срез они могут сломаться, не
справляясь с удерживанием. На отрыв, безусловно, саморезы более надежны (винтовые канавки от резьбы удерживают крепеж в материале): гвозди
легче отрываются, в то время как саморезы необходимо выкручивать. Понятно, что конструкции на саморезах легче разбирать, но годы эксплуатации в
условиях изменчивой влажности (меняется размер досок от набухания) могут привести к проблемам — саморезы могут ломаться, терять шляпки или
застревать в глубине материала. А разбирать потом такую конструкцию очень не просто (шуруповерт бесполезен, нужен скорее лом).
Но не стоит забывать — существуют специальные конструкционные саморезы (шурупы) для работы с деревом. От универсальных саморезов они отличаются как конструктивно (широкая шляпка, резьба с фрезой, проточка на конце), так и параметрами стали (работают на изгиб). Там даже шлиц обычно Torx. Но они обычно сильно дороже. А для монтажа каркасного дома нужно около 60 кг метизов…
В
контексте строительных работ обычные саморезы не подходят для соединения всех видов
несущих деревянных конструкций (балки, стропила, стойки). Это правило справедливо для всех типов — черных,
белых, желтых и прочих саморезов. Из-за особенностей их конструкции они плохо
выдерживают разнонаправленные нагрузки на древесину (когда конструкция может «играть» от нагрузок). Неважно, что именно вызывает нагрузку:
ветер, снег, вес древесины или усушка материала. Для таких соединений следует использовать
гвозди или шпильки/болты с гайками.
Каждый вид крепежа уместен в своей сфере применения, не зря человечеством придумано сотни видов крепежных элементов.
Но существуют две ситуации, в которых
применение саморезов очень нежелательно:
1. Соединение с осевой нагрузкой. При таких
условиях саморез может быть вырван из древесины, в отличие от гвоздей или
болтов.
2. Нагрузки на срез или сдвиг. В этом
случае хрупкие каленые саморезы могут сломаться, что приведет к разрушению конструкции.
Для таких ситуаций необходимо применять гвозди, шпильки или конструкционные саморезы.
Но и полно вариантов, где крепление на саморезы ускоряет работы и экономит силы (фасадные работы, перегородки, жесткие полы, неподвижные конструкции и пр.)
