Ожидается, что спелеолога-любителя из США, который застрял в пещере и девять дней не мог подняться на поверхность, спасут в течение 24 часов. Об этом сообщает Independent.
40-летний американский спелеолог-исследователь Марк Дики исследовал пещеру Морка в Турции, когда ему внезапно стало плохо. Инцидент произошел 2 сентября, из-за того что у мужчины открылось желудочное кровотечение на глубине 1036 метров. Ему удалось сообщить об этом коллегам на поверхности. В тот же день началась масштабная операция по его спасению, в которой принимают участие 150 спасателей и парамедиков из восьми стран.
Специалистам удалось добраться до Дики и стабилизировать его состояние. Мужчину поднимают на поверхность поэтапно. В воскресенье пострадавший Дики вместе с коллегами сумел добраться до лагеря, разбитого спасателями на отметке 500 метров ниже уровня земли. Там мужчине сделали переливание крови.
«У него нет кровотечения и рвоты уже два дня», — написала на платформе X (бывший Twitter) Тулга Шенер, медицинский координатор Федерации спелеологии. В понедельник 11 сентября Дики удалось доставить на глубину 180 метров.
Специалисты считают, что спасательная миссия сможет завершиться в течение 24 часов. Они планируют доставить Дики на поверхность к утру вторника. В настоящий момент он чувствует себя хорошо.
