Постоянный стресс может привести к депрессии, из-за которой человек может столкнуться с хроническими болями. Об этом «Известиям» рассказал врач-анестезиолог Антон Гришин.
Он объяснил, что в разовых экстремальных ситуациях стресс работает как защитный механизм. К примеру, он позволяет быстро среагировать и избежать опасности. Однако при постоянном нервном напряжении стресс может стать патологическим и системным, что будет негативно влиять на здоровье. По словам медика, это может стать причиной развития хронической депрессии.
Хроническая депрессия же приводит к истощению нейромедиаторов, тормозящих болевые импульсы в головной мозг. Из-за депрессивного состояния ломается фильтр восприятия болевых ощущений. В итоге человек может начать воспринимать то, на что раньше не обращал внимание, как источник боли. Гришин отметил, что у 65 % пациентов, страдающих от депрессии, появляется хроническая боль. При этом такие пациенты обычно не могут четко описать боль, которую они действительно ощущают.
Врачи же в этом случаев часто не ставят никаких диагнозов. Близкие же люди обвиняют человека в том, что он симулирует боль. Так пациент попадает в «порочный круг». Из-за этого у него и дальше развивается депрессия и хроническая боль, которую уже не вылечишь медикаментами. Сделать это можно, обратившись к психиатру.
Для того, чтобы не оказаться в такой ситуации, медик призвал прислушиваться к организму и сразу обращаться к специалистам, когда болевые ощущения начинают беспокоить человека. Он отметил, что важно не запускать свою боль, чтобы она в итоге не превратилась в хроническую.
