Компания VPI Event, организовавшая концерты российской рок-группы «Би-2» в Таиланде, признала, что некорректно оформила визы музыкантам. «Для участников группы была оформлена туристическая виза, что привело к нарушению миграционного законодательства» страны, заявила компания в своем Telegram-канале вечером во вторник, 30 января. При этом организаторы подчеркнули, что ответственность за оформление виз согласно условиям контракта лежит исключительно на компании и группа «Би-2» не несет ответственности за допущенную ошибку.
Кроме того, по мнению VPI Event, реакция властей Таиланда на нарушение оказалась необычно жесткой: до сих пор артистов в подобных случаях не арестовывали, и «как правило, все сводилось к наложению штрафов или иных санкций на организаторов». Но в случае с «Би-2» «внимание миграционных служб было сосредоточено исключительно на артистах», отмечается в посте.
Там также говорится, что с декабря в Таиланде «под давлением российского консульства» началась «кампания отмены концертов» артистов. В качестве примера VPI Event привела отмененные гастроли Максима Галкина и стендап-комика Руслана Белого в Паттайе и на острове Пхукет. И сейчас компания, прилагая усилия для освобождения музыкантов «Би-2», по ее собственному заявлению, «на всех этапах» встречает «беспрецедентное давление».
Лидер «Би-2» смог улететь в Израиль
Между тем солист группы Лева (Егор Бортник) смог вылететь из Таиланда в Израиль, гражданином которого он является. Сообщение об этом появилось в официальном Telegram-канале «Би-2» также вечером 30 января. Там указывается, что другие участники группы по-прежнему находятся в миграционной тюрьме в Таиланде в тесной камере на 80 человек.
Переговоры об освобождении оставшихся музыкантов «Би-2» продолжаются. Другого солиста группы, Шуру (Александра Умана), могут выслать в Австралию, поскольку у него есть паспорт этой страны. Первоначально речь шла о депортации всего коллектива в Израиль, однако тайские власти отказались от этого плана. Российская сторона добивается депортации в РФ тех участников группы, которые имеют только российское гражданство.
Музыкантов «Би-2» задержали 24 января якобы за выступление без разрешения на острове Пхукет. При этом их первый концерт в Паттайе прошел без эксцессов. Тайский суд назначил участникам группы штрафы, которые, по их словам, были выплачены на месте.
После полномасштабного вторжения РФ в Украину группа заняла антивоенную позицию и покинула Россию. Весной 2023 года солиста «Би-2» Леву внесли в список «иностранных агентов».
