В преддверии финала песенного конкурса «Евровидение» в шведском Мальмё (он состоится в субботу) царит напряженная атмосфера. Для обеспечения безопасности в город направлены основные силы шведской полиции. Им помогают коллеги из Норвегии и Дании.
В Мальме, где проживает большое количество выходцев из стран Ближнего Востока, война Израиля с ХАМАС находится в центре внимания.
Здесь проходят протесты против участия Израиля в конкурсе.
Жанетт Эсканилья, шведская организация «Корабль в Газу»:»Прямо сейчас в Рафахе убивают людей. И в то же время к нам приезжает певица из Израиля. Это неправильно».
Между тем организатор конкурса Европейский вещательный союз, ранее объяснил, что не намерен исключать Израиль из числа участников «Евровидения».
В день второго полуфинала, когда на сцену должна выйти представительница Израиля Эден Голан, в Мальмё прошли сразу нескольк антиизраильских акций. Двадцатилетняя Голан находится в Швеции под особой охраной.
Эден Голан, представительница Израиля на «Евровидении»:»Лично на меня происходящее не повлияло. Со мной здесь отличная команда, которая обеспечивает мою безопасность. Я понимаю, что люди имеют право говорить то, что хотят, но я сосредотачиваюсь на хорошем».
Эден Голан представляет на конкурсе песню «Ураган», на основе мелодии изначальной композиции «Октябрьский дождь» («October Rain»). В ней организаторы увидели политический подтекст и отсылку к нападению ХАМАС на Израиль. Текст пришлось изменить.
В своем заявлении Голан сказала: «Я горжусь тем, что представляю свою страну, особенно в этом году. Я получаю поддержку и любовь, и я полна решимости показать свой лучший результат в полуфинале, и ничто не помешает мне достичь этой цели!»
В преддверии выступления Голан Министерство иностранных дел Израиля написало на платформе X: «Мы невероятно гордимся Эден Голан, которая представляет нашу страну на «Евровидении». Она не только исключительная исполнительница, но и символ силы и стойкости. Мы любим тебя, Эден, и вся наша страна болеет за тебя».
На первом полуфинале «Евровидения» разгорелся скандал. Приглашенная звезда Эрик Сааде вышел на сцену с символом Палестины — арафаткой, в то время, как правилами подобные действия запрещены. И исполнителям, и зрителям в зале не разрешается во время выступлений использовать флаги и символы стран, которые не участвуют в конкурсе.
Bambie Thug, представляющий Ирландию, и прошедший в финал, раскритиковал организаторов конкурса. Певец заявил на пресс-конференции, что его заставили изменить надпись, нарисованную на его теле перед выступлением в полуфинале. Она гласила: «Прекращение огня и свобода».
Представитель EBU заявил: «Надписи, замеченные на теле Bambie Thug во время генеральных репетиций, противоречили правилам конкурса, которые призваны защитить неполитический характер мероприятия».
На прошлой неделе Израиль предупредил граждан о том, что поездка в Мальмё может быть небезопасной.
Второй полуфинал конкурса «Евровидение», где, у слову, выступит и представитель Латвии, проходит в четверг 9 мая, а финал — в субботу 11 мая.
