Каждый год в России рождается около 30 тысяч детей с наследственными болезнями, которые связаны с генными мутациями. Многие малыши рождаются с предрасположенностью к разным заболеваниям – сахарному диабету, эпилепсии, шизофрении и злокачественным опухолям. Врач-генетик Ирина Колесникова рассказала, какие заболевания родители могут передать детям и как это возможно предупредить.
В беседе с «Известиями» она отметила, что почти каждый человек является носителем нескольких генных мутаций, при этом сам но об этом не подозревает. Копия сломанного гена никак не влияет на жизнь человека и не проявляется у его детей. Однако в паре и у мужчины, и у женщины, одинаковая мутация гена, у них с вероятностью 25 % родится ребенок с моногенным заболеванием.
Одно из самых распространенных моногенных заболеваний – муковисцидоз. Болезнь встречается у одного ребенка из 2-2,5 тысячи новорожденных. У детей с такой патологией нарушается работа желез внешней секреции – потовых, слюнных, слезных, желез печени и ЖКТ. Из-за этой болезни у человека страдают легкие и кишечник: дыхательная функция нарушена, организм не усваивает питательные вещества. К сожалению, лечения от болезни нет, до 50-60 % детей с таким нарушением умирают в раннем возрасте.
Чтобы не столкнуться с такой трагедией, медик порекомендовала проходить специальное обследование при планировании беременности. С помощью процедуры можно оценить генетические риски появления ребенка с подобной патологией. Анализы важно сдать обоим партнерам.
Другое распространенное моногенное заболевание – наследственная нейросенсорная тугоухость. При такой проблеме у ребенка ослабевает слух, появляется проблемы в речи. Также некоторые дети рождаются с болезнью Вильсона – Вестфаля – Коновалова – при ней организм не выводит медь, из-за чего нарушается свертываемость крови и работа внутренних органов.
