ASML под давлением
Белого дома вынуждено разрывает действующие контракты с китайскими заказчиками.
Служба национальной безопасности США поднимала данный
вопрос перед правительством Нидерландов, однако там его переадресовали
непосредственно к руководству ведущей компании по созданию оборудования для
производства чипов.
В сей раз проблема коснулась оборудования для DUV процесса (иммерсионная
глубокая УФ литография с длиной волны 193 нанометра).
Это не первый шаг администрации Соединенных Штатов. Около
двух лет назад был ограничен импорт в Китай литографического оборудования по технологии
EUV, где длина волны составляет 13,5 нанометра. Такие литографические сканеры могут
применяться для создания микросхем с топологией 3 и менее нм.
DUV сканеры позволяют производить практически те же чипы, но
процесс производства более затратный так, как здесь применяются многочисленные
маски. Тем не менее китайские производители уже наладили производство по 7-ми нанометровому
техпроцессу.
Прогнозируя новую волну санкций Китай в прошлом году
существенно нарастил объемы импорта литографического оборудования в страну и
успел сделать не малый задел, в чем в США усмотрели угрозу национальной
безопасности.
И хотя в ASML уверяют, что прекращение поставок затронуло лишь небольшое
количество покупателей и не скажется существенным образом на финансовых
показателях компании, вопрос разрыва контрактов вышел за рамки компетенции
производителя так, как лицензия на экспорт была отозвана властями Нидерландов.
