И для клещей, оголодавших за зиму, человек это всё равно что «парное мясо», сказал заведующий лабораторией Научно-исследовательского института вакцин и сывороток имени Мечникова, иммунолог Михаил Костинов в интервью 360.ru. Поэтому все должны знать, как избежать присасывания клеща и что делать, если это все же случилось.
Насекомые начинают искать себе пропитание с ранней весны. Клещей люди привлекают своим специфическим запахом, который отличается от запаха животных.
«Мы ходили на международный конгресс, нам показывали, как клещи чувствуют запах (я назвал бы в кавычках „парное мясо“) и как они поворачивают в сторону, откуда идет запах», — рассказал иммунолог.
Люди могут не заметить присасывания клеща, потому что во время укуса насекомое выделяет вещество, подавляющее чувствительность. Оно действует как местная анестезия. Но заражение начинается именно с момента укуса. Помимо энцефалита от клеща можно заразиться риккетсиозом, боррелиозом и другими инфекциями.
Если клещ уже присосался, его можно вытащить. Врачи это делают специальным изогнутым пинцетом или хирургическим зажимом.
В домашних условиях самый лучший способ — с помощью обыкновенной хлопчатобумажной нитки, говорят специалисты Роспотребнадзора. Надо накинуть нитку на клеща как можно ближе к хоботку и плавно ее раскачивать. Когда клещ оторвется, упаковать его и отвезти на проверку, чтобы убедиться, что он не заражен.
Способ удалять клеща с помощью масла или прижигания сигаретой — это мифы. Масло закупорит дыхательные отверстия, клещ погибнет, но перед этим отрыгнет содержимое своего хоботка в ранку. Когда клеща удалили, кожу на месте укуса надо обработать йодом, зеленкой или спиртом.
