ВОЗ оценила опасность передачи опасного заболевания между людьми
Всемирная организация здравоохранения (ВОЗ) сообщила, что в Китае зафиксирована первая смерть от птичьего гриппа H3N8. С прошлого года в Поднебесной были обнаружены три случая H3N8. По данным ВОЗ, штамм, по-видимому, нелегко передается между людьми.
В Китае от птичьего гриппа H3N8 умерла женщина – это первый известный случай смерти человека от штамма птичьего гриппа, сообщила Всемирная организация здравоохранения.
Как передает Agence France-Presse, известно, что вирус H3N8 циркулирует с 2002 года после того, как впервые появился у водоплавающих птиц Северной Америки. Известно, что он поражает лошадей, собак и тюленей.
Он не был обнаружен у людей до того, как появились два несмертельных случая — причем оба в Китае – в апреле и мае прошлого года.
По данным ВОЗ, умершая от птичьего гриппа женщина заболела 22 февраля, а 3 марта была госпитализирована с тяжелой пневмонией и скончалась 16 марта.
“У пациентки было множество сопутствующих заболеваний. У нее была история контакта с живой домашней птицей до начала заболевания, а также история присутствия диких птиц вокруг ее дома”, — говорится в заявлении агентства здравоохранения ООН.
“Ни у кого из близких контактов пациента на момент сообщения не развилась инфекция или симптомы болезни”, — добавлено в сообщении ВОЗ.
Хотя заражение могло быть вызвано контактом с рынком живой птицы, “до сих пор неясно, каков точный источник этой инфекции и как этот вирус связан с другими вирусами птичьего гриппа A(H3N8), которые циркулируют у животных”, — заявили в ВОЗ, призвав к дальнейшим исследованиям на животных и людях.
Из двух случаев, имевших место в Китае в прошлом году, у одного развилось тяжелое заболевание, в то время как у другого заболевание протекало в легкой форме. По данным ВОЗ, в обоих случаях, вероятно, заражение произошло в результате прямого или косвенного контакта с инфицированной домашней птицей.
“Похоже, что этот вирус не обладает способностью легко распространяться от человека к человеку, и поэтому риск его распространения среди людей на национальном, региональном и международном уровнях считается низким”, — заявили в базирующейся в Женеве организации.
“Однако из-за постоянно меняющейся природы вирусов гриппа ВОЗ подчеркивает важность глобального эпиднадзора для выявления вирусологических, эпидемиологических и клинических изменений, связанных с циркулирующими вирусами гриппа, которые могут повлиять на здоровье человека (или животных)”, – сказано в сообщении Всемирной организации здравоохранения.
Случаи заболевания людей птичьим гриппом обычно являются результатом прямого или косвенного контакта с инфицированной живой или мертвой домашней птицей или загрязненной окружающей средой, напоминает Agence France-Presse.
ВОЗ заявила, что заражение животных гриппом может привести к различным заболеваниям — от конъюнктивита или легких гриппоподобных симптомов до тяжелого острого респираторного заболевания или даже смерти.
Сообщалось также о желудочно-кишечных или неврологических симптомах, но они признаны редкими явлениями.
