Всемирная организация здравоохранения запрашивает у Китая дополнительную информацию о резком росте респираторных заболеваний у детей.
ВОЗ заявляет, что запросила у китайских официальных лиц дополнительную информацию о росте числа респираторных заболеваний и пневмоний среди детей в Китае.
Официальные лица из Национальной комиссии здравоохранения Китая сообщили о росте числа респираторных заболеваний на пресс-конференции на прошлой неделе, говорится в заявлении ВОЗ в среду.
“Китайские власти объяснили это увеличение отменой ограничений на COVID-19 и циркуляцией известных патогенов, таких как грипп, mycoplasma pneumoniae (распространенная бактериальная инфекция, которая обычно поражает детей младшего возраста), респираторно-синцитиальный вирус (RSV) и SARS-CoV-2 (вирус, вызывающий COVID-19)», – заявляет Всемирная организация здравоохранения.
По данным организации, на севере страны также были зарегистрированы скопления недиагностированных случаев детской пневмонии, но неясно, связаны ли они с респираторными инфекциями.
Как отмечает CNN, Китай придерживался политики, известной как «нулевой уровень Covid», отмеченной строгими карантинами, массовыми тестированиями и тщательным отслеживанием контактов, пока в декабре не отказался от этой стратегии. По словам экспертов, эти меры по борьбе с Covid также ограничивают распространение более распространенных микробов, создавая “пробел в иммунитете”, который может сделать людей более уязвимыми к инфекции, когда они перестанут принимать такие меры предосторожности.
Сообщения СМИ предполагают ”широкомасштабную вспышку недиагностированного респираторного заболевания в нескольких районах Китая», согласно программе Международного общества инфекционных заболеваний по мониторингу новых заболеваний, известной как ProMED. – “Совершенно не ясно, когда началась эта вспышка, поскольку было бы необычно, чтобы так много детей пострадало так быстро”, но сообщения о заболевании преимущественно среди детей предполагают ”некоторое воздействие в школах».
ProMED заявляет, что ожидает дополнительной информации о масштабах проблемы, но пока слишком рано делать какие-либо прогнозы или спекуляции.
ВОЗ сообщает, что запросила у Китая эпидемиологическую и клиническую информацию, результаты лабораторных исследований по этим кластерам, подробную информацию о тенденциях в циркуляции патогенов и нагрузке на системы здравоохранения.
Агентство советует жителям Китая принимать меры предосторожности для снижения риска респираторных заболеваний, включая получение рекомендованных вакцин, оставаться дома во время болезни, носить маски в присутствии других и регулярно мыть руки.
