Неприятная история
произошла с новостным изданием Hoodline из Сан-Франциско. Оказалось, что публикуемые под псевдонимом Нины
Синг-Хадсон статьи созданы искусственным интеллектом. В профиле
автора была ее фотография, биография, а сама автор считалась писателем со
стажем, специализирующимся на темах захватывающих технологий и бурно
развивающегося бизнеса.
Кроме статей Нины Синг-Хадсон
в издании размещались статьи и других искусственных авторов, не имеющих ничего
общего с реальными людьми.
Статьи, созданные
такими авторами являлись переупакованным контентом других новостных агентств и
отредактированным людьми. Алгоритм работы искусственного интеллекта позволял
мониторить пресс-релизы, бюллетени правоохранительных органов и другие
источники информации в почти двух десятков городов. Единственным отличием
такого материала от статей, написанных настоящими авторами, являлся крошечный
значок «искусственного интеллекта» и отказ редакции от ответственности за
информацию.
С момента первых
догадок у общественности о поддельных авторах фото и биография из профиля Нины Синг-Хадсон
исчезла.
Hoodline было не единственным популярным изданием, замеченном
в размещении материала фальшивых авторов. Однако в редакции ничего
предосудительного в этом не видят, считают, что у каждого ИИ-автора есть свой персональный
стиль и не далек тот час, когда у них начнут появляться подписчики, а возможно
они станут и телеведущими.
Однако специалисты новостной отрасли в большим стажем
находят такое положение дел неприемлемым, противоречащим основным журналистским
стандартам точности и прозрачности, а также подрывающим доверие людей к
новостной отрасли.
