Чрезмерное количество туалетной бумаги и неправильная техника подтирания после дефекации могут подвергнуть человека множеству проблем со здоровьем. Об этом эксперты по здоровью мочевыводящих путей и прямой кишки рассказали Daily Mail.
К 24 годам почти каждая третья женщина перенесет хотя бы одну инфекцию мочевыводящих путей, требующую назначения антибиотиков, и почти половина всех женщин столкнется с этим в течение своей жизни. Для профилактики инфекции мочевыводящих путей женщинам важно подтираться спереди назад, чтобы избежать попадания фекалий в уретру.
«Большинство инфекций мочевыводящих путей вызваны бактериями, которые обычно живут вокруг прямой кишки и заднего прохода», — отметили эксперты.
Эксперты рекомендуют прочную, впитывающую и мягкую туалетную бумагу. Слишком сильное трение, особенно тонкой или грубой бумагой, может привести к зуду. Среднее количество листов, используемых на одну салфетку, варьируется в зависимости от человека, но в среднем составляет около семи. Сократив количество листов бумаги для подтирания, можно снизить риск раздражения кож и зуда. Во время сильного приступа диареи рекомендуется использовать влажные салфетки без отдушки, чтобы избежать раздражения в области заднего прохода, при этом сохранив ее чистоту.
Общественные опросы показывают, что чаще всего люди подтираются сидя: в одном опросе журнала Men’s Health сообщается, что из более чем 3000 опрошенных 65% сидели. Такая поза обеспечивает легкий доступ для очистки, но стоячее положение позволяет избежать случайного касания руки унитаза рукой, что особенно важно в общественных туалетах.
