Кёнигсберг, расположенный в Восточной Пруссии, был
важным городом для немцев, имел богатую и древнюю историю. Его история берёт
начало с 1255 г., когда на реке Преголя был заложен Королевский замок. Это
событие стало основанием прусского города — Кёнигсберга. Его название переводится как
Королевская гора. На Руси до 18-го века город был известен как Королевец. Только при Петре I немецкое название Кёнигсберг
получило широкое распространение. Как эти истинно немецкие земли присоединились к СССР и сейчас являются полуэксклавом РФ (территория не имеет общих сухопутных границ с остальной страной) и самой западной точкой нашей страны. — Давайте разбираться.
Кёнигсберг в период с 1773 г. по 1945 г. — центр Восточной Пруссии. Во время Великой Отечественной войны (1943 г.), когда стало ясно, что фашизм будет повержен, СССР заявил свои права на Кёнигсберг, а в 1945 г. после взятия города, Советский Союз присоединил его и прилегающие территории, как военный трофей (более 10 тыс. советских войнов погибли при освобождении города). Это произошло согласно решениям Тегеранской, Ялтинской и Потсдамской конференций. А окончательно границы уточнили с ФРГ только в 1970 году.
Рассматривалось несколько различных вариантов по присоединению. Были варианты, предполагавшие сделать территорию Восточной Пруссии республикой в составе СССР. Но маленькая территория не позволяла этого. Также планировалось бывшее немецкое население депортировать в Германию, а вновь присоединённую территорию заселить населением советских республик, в основном из РСФСР.
Поэтому было принято решение передать Кёнигсберг
с его территориями либо Литве (общие границы), либо Белоруссии. Руководство литовской
республики отказалось от этих областей — необходимо было их восстанавливать.
Разрушения инфраструктуры составляли на 90%. Белоруссия (партийные функционеры) имела свои виды на всё это. Она
предполагала получить за счёт земель Литвы коридор до Кёнигсберга, передав ей за это небольшие
приграничные области. Но Литва и на это не пошла.
В результате Правительство СССР решило
присоединить Кёнигсберг к РСФСР, это произошло в 1945 г. 17 октября. В апреле
следующего года была образована новая область РСФСР, а через три месяца 4 июля
1946 г. её главный город был переименован в Калининград в честь умершего «всесоюзного старосты», председателя
Президиума Верховного Совета СССР Михаила Ивановича Калинина.
По каким же причинам Кёнигсберг был присоединён к
Советскому союзу и переименован?
Кёнигсберг считался «родным отцом» всей Германии,
он был одним из главных оплотом нацизма. Поэтому, чтобы подавить очаг агрессии и на будущее обезопасить свои границы от
нападений, Сталиным было принято такое решение.
Там находились два не замерзавших
морских порта, что позволяло иметь выход к Балтике в любое время года.
В случае конфликтных ситуаций это был важный
плацдарм, находившийся рядом с Европой.
Название города было решено изменить, чтобы убрать связь с
германским прошлым, изменить его идентичность и культурное наследие. Многие исторические памятники были разрушены войной, что привело к утрате исторического
облика старого города.
На сегодняшний
день Калининград — это самый западный город России с почти полумиллионным
населением, важный стратегический центр на Балтийском море. Это развитый
промышленный центр. В городе много туристических маршрутов, один из них связан
с великим философом Иммануилом Кантом (он родился и похоронен здесь). Калининград
имеет много красивых музеев. К ним надо отнести музей янтаря, музей Мирового
океана и многие другие. В городе есть театры, библиотеки, большой зоопарк,
ботанический сад.
