Компания Samsung Display сообщила в понедельник, что ей
впервые в отрасли удалось переработать чернила для квантовых точек (QD), что
позволило ежегодно экономить не менее 10 миллиардов вон (7,2 миллиона
долларов).
По данным компании, с октября она использует переработанные
чернила QD для своей линии массового производства, восстанавливая и
перерабатывая 80процентов чернил, потраченных впустую при производстве
светоизлучающего слоя QD.
Светоизлучающий слой QD является ключевой структурой
дисплеев QD-OLED и изготавливается с помощью струйной печати, при которой
красные и зеленые чернила QD густо распыляются через сопла микроразмеров.
Однако в этом процессе примерно 20 процентов от общего количества
использованных чернил QD остается в соплах и выбрасывается.
В декабре прошлого года Samsung Display заявила, что
сформировала рабочую группу для повышения эффективности использования чернил
QD, а в августе успешно разработала оборудование для переработки чернил QD.
Компания сообщила, что переработанные чернила проходят усовершенствованный
процесс синтеза для повышения чистоты и оптических свойств, что позволяет
достичь таких же показателей, как у оригинальных чернил, при тестировании
качества.
Компания Samsung Display заявила, что планирует и дальше
повышать свою конкурентоспособность в производстве QD-OLED за счет улучшения
производительности оборудования и технологических возможностей для повышения
производительности и выхода продукции.
