Финансовая грамотность для детей — то, чем многие пренебрегают. И совершенно зря. Несколько дней назад мы с детьми разбирали тему бесполезных трат и вредных финансовых привычек на примере обычного похода в продуктовый магазин. Подумал, что такими правилами с разъяснениями будут не лишне поделиться и с аудиторией IXBT, глядишь вы тоже захотите использовать что-то из этого для разговоров со своими детьми.
Момент, который важно уточнить изначально. Основная идея беседы с детьми была следующей. Есть хорошая дорогая вещь, которую ты хочешь. Велик, гитара или игровой ноут. Как приблизить покупку этой вещи или взять что-то классом выше? Жизненный опыт показывает, что найти деньги на что-то желаемое и дорогое можно найти почти всегда, главное правильно к этому подойти и воспитать в себе финансовую дисциплину.
И обычный поход в магазин как раз-таки важная часть из такого воспитания финансовой грамотности в том что касается вампиров бюджета.
Список покупок
Помнится, когда-то меня до глубины души потрясла своей точностью фраза «все маркетологи мира бессильны против мужчины со списком товаров для покупки»
Если вы точно знаете что вам на окрошку нужны «картошка, яйца, огурец, кефир, колбаса, сметана, 2 бутылки кваса (белого разумеется. окрошка — это не красная сладкая газировка с колбасой!)», и вы будете последовательны на пути следования списку, то едва ли в вашей в корзинке сведут неожиданное знакомство креветки и пакет эклеров.
Сами вспомните, сколько раз было, когда вы или ваша половина заходили в магазин за какой-то нужной мелочью, типа условной буханки хлеба и в итоге выходили с полным пакетом всякой ненужной всячины —
Случайные траты — настоящий вампир бюджета. Вот тут надо прямо капсом, жирным и подчеркиванием — избегайте случайных трат.
Вы удивитесь, сколько денег на что-то дорогое и хорошее может неожиданно появиться, если ограничить себя в спонтанных покупках. Не думаю, впрочем, что это правило имеет смысл распространять на случаи хорошего постоянного дохода, который подразумевает что человек имеет свободу трат при обычных походах по магазинам. Тут отношение случайных расходов к доходам может упасть до статистического шума.
Впрочем, масштабировать можно и такие случаи тоже. Спокойствие и уверенность в доходах выливаются в том что за месяц можно наклацать на маркетплейсах на несколько десятков тысяч рублей, потраченных на спонтанные,
Корзинка лучше тележки
Психологи давно подметили полезное для худеющих свойство человеческой психики. Если положить одно и то же количество еды на большую и маленькую тарелку, то в первом случае будет казаться что еды недостаточно и порция в тарелке будет расти, покуда глазу не покажется, что она соответствует диаметру тарелки.
Это справедливо и для похода в магазин. Набитая доверху корзина оттягивает руку и говорит «все, хватит, больше не помещается, иди на кассу». Большая же тележка, как и природа, не терпит пустоты. Она легко катится по залу и из зала к машине на парковке, и манит, манит забить всё свободное место внутри.
Не ходить голодным
Сытый покупатель равнодушно посмотрит на золотистый бочок копченой рыбы или сырное многоглазие. Ему безразлична обойма купат и перетянутое бечёвой буженинное ядро. Общая Теория Относительно учит, что сила притяжения тела растёт вместе с его массой. Жизненный же опыт показывает что вакуум в брюхе притягивает к себе еду гораздо сильнее, чем когда желудок полон.
Не брать детей
С одной стороны, дети не дадут надолго застрять в магазине. Им быстро наскучит и они потянут на выход. С другой же стороны, маркетологи тоже помнят про малышню и приманивают их обилием вкусняшек, разложенных на нижних полках,
Собственно, последнее и есть то, чему детей может научить фраза «не бери с собой детей в магазин»? Им полезно объяснить мерчандайзинговую хитрость выкладки детского товара именно на нижних полках и возле кассы. Не то, чтобы это чему-то поможет: едва ли понимание почему копеечная шоколадка из пальмы лежит именно тут сделает её менее привлекательной для ребёнка. Но объяснить эту хитрость, считаю, все же стоит для общего понимания.
На кассе только пробиваем!
Тему прикассовой зоны стоит вообще выделить отдельно, потому что она отлично работает и для взрослых. В подавляющем большинстве эти россыпи забиты всякой поштучной мелочью, которая при другом объеме упаковки обошлась бы существенно дешевле. Цена всего этого (а, зачастую, и качество) достаточно мала, чтобы не потревожить сигнальную зону рассудка и, в итоге, клатч легкомысленной офисной стрекозы пополняется условной чекушкой палёнки и вышеупомянутой пальмовой шоколадкой.
Смотри вверх и вниз
Тема с размещением товаров на уровне глаз работает и для взрослых. Самые вкусные и невыгодные по цене предложения продавец зачастую прячет высоко или низко, выставляя на уровень глаз именно то, что в первую очередь нужно продать. И есть изрядная разница между тем, что продавцу нужно продать, и тем, что вам нужно купить.
Дойдя до нужного товара, не поленитесь посмотреть выше и ниже, вполне возможно что там будет что-то такое же, но за меньшую цену.
Акционное не значит нужное
Кажется у Баффета, человека, который отлично разбирается в деньгах, есть фраза «Сэкономленный доллар — заработанный доллар». Мышление человека устроено так, что воспринимает сэкономленные деньги как заработанные.
А дальше начинается хитрость. Смотрите, вот вы хотели купить какую-то модель ноутбука за условные 100тр. Не важно насколько просто хотели или он вам на самом деле был нужен — главное, что вы заранее знали, что именно вам нужно и планировали это купить.
Так что вы ждали, искали и вот вам упал промокод или выкатили жирную акцию и цена на ноут упала до 90тр. Отлично, вы на самом деле заработали ощутимую сумму и в вашем кошельке остались 10 тысяч. Вы получили то, что хотели и отдали меньше, чем могли бы.
И случай противоположный. Вы идёте по магазину или где-то на сайте видите нашлёпку типа «20% скидка! Только сегодня!» Товар этот будет… ну, маска с трубкой для плавания за 4тр. А вы в последний раз плавали где-то вне дачного бассейна лет этак 5 назад, так что маска — явно не тот товар, который а) на самом деле нужен или б) остро хочется.
Быстрый подсчёт показывает скидку в 1тр, 4тр тоже посильная для спонтанной покупки сумма и вот маска с трубкой отправляется в глубь шкафа, соседствовать тоже очень нужными usb-подогревателем для кружек и машиной для сахарной ваты.
Короткое первое время душу покупателя будет греть мысль, что вот он молодец-то, сэкономил 1тр. Только на самом деле вместо оставленных в кошельке 1тр, его покинули 4 тысячи. Для многих этот момент вообще неявный.
Наличные лучше карты
Слово «кошелек» тут уместно воспринимать именно в его классическом виде. И одно дело, когда ты их отсчитываешь вживую, видя как худеет пачка купюр. Другое же дело, когда нужно приложить смартфон или провести картой. Изменение баланса в таком случае не ощущается и такая трата реально расхолаживает, приближая обнуление, гораздо быстрее желаемого. И это еще в том лучшем случае, когда речь идёт о дебетовой карте…
Многие пользуются детскими картами. Кто спорит, так удобнее задавать ограничение трат и отслеживать на что и где они происходят. Но, предположу, что привить ребёнку понимание цены денег сложнее, когда он не отдает сотенную купюру («эх, их осталось всего 4 до конца недели»), а прикладывает карточку к терминалу — такая трата совершенно незаметна и не даёт возможность оценить доступный остаток.
Ходите реже
Самый простой способ. Вот прямо на самом деле простой. Не надо что-то там в себе ломать, менять, задумываться. Вам поможет чисто даосский пути неделания. Хочется пойти в магаз? Не идите. Хочется залезь на сайт какого-то магазина? В другой раз.
Опять-таки, тут работает психология. Человек не терпит неопределённости (поэтому в пятнах теста Роршаха один видит гитару, а другой нож в спине) и ему комфортнее, когда у его действий и решений есть какая-то причина.
Единицы могут зайти в магазин, не найти там нужного и покинуть его с тем же, с чем и пришли. В массе же остальных случаев, что же получается, просто так, вы без дела в магазин пошли? Или час времени угрохали на перелистывание страниц с товарами? Ну хоть краюху «бри» или там вяленых томатов надо взять, чтобы не с пустыми руками возвращаться. Ну или очень нужный термос с дисплеем заказать, а то те два у вас в шкаф-то, они же без дисплеев, потому вы их и не использовали ни разу. А вот с дисплеем-то ууух! — жизнь-то новая начнется!
Ведите бюджет
Самый психологически сложный, но и самым действенный способ, с которым лишь в исключительно стеснённых случаях не найдутся деньги на новый игровой ноут вообще или гораздо более навороченный в частности. Как вариант: смартфон или велосипед, самые понятные и частые для ребёнка хотелки. Способ, с которым можно набрать нужную сумму на отдых или поехать лишний раз, или отдохнуть классом выше (если речь о взрослом). В общем, очень хороший способ, который диалектически поменяет высокое количество покупок на высокое качество.
Потребуется твёрдость характера и несколько шагов
- качаем приложение для записи расходов, куда и записываем все траты (для взрослых: личные и и семейные) в течение месяца. Можно не дословно по каждому товару, а разделить их на категории типа «еда, одежда, досуг, образование, машина». Отдельно нужно сделать метку для вкусняшек, крупных и случайных трат. Если хотите бросить курить — то оценка потраченной на цигарки части ваших доходов может стать дополнительной мотивацией, особенно если умножить месячную трату на 12.
- по итогам месяца надо определить все случайные траты и суммировать. Потом переведите эти деньги во время, которое требуется чтобы их заработать. И наверняка итог ужаснёт, кому понравится понять что 2-3 дня жизни за месяц были выброшены на покупку откровенно ненужного хлама или всякой мелочи, без которой вполне можно было бы и обойтись. Потом можно еще и на год эти расходы экстраполировать, сколько там сожжённых непонятно на что недель наберется?
- дальше, коли вы понимаете, сколько на самом деле в месяц уходит на необходимое, то можно задать планку трат на месяц (это тяжело) и решить на что потратить всё то, что уходило отсечённую часть расходов. Вот эта часть бюджетирования скорее всего окажется весьма мотивирующей и поможет преодолеть горечь от «это что, я на ноготки теперь не схожу?».
Итак, еще раз. Цель того, что выше — объяснить детям:
- что такое финансовая дисциплина на примере обычного похода магазин за продуктами
- показать как на траты влияет психология и работа маркетологов, мерчандайзеров
- как отсечение мелких ненужных трат позволит получить что-то на самом деле хорошее и дорогое. Тут, разумеется, уместно попутно объяснить детям, что скопидомство, экономия ради экономии — такая же крайность, как и мотовство. Нищебродство это не столько про уровень дохода, сколько про неготовность тратить заработанное.
На случай того аргумента, что лучше carpe diem на всю катушку и потом пару недель до ЗП в режиме тихоходки (тут подробнее про суперспособности этих героев микро-мира) — так речь не о том, чтобы не радоваться жизни. Речь об умении контролировать свои расходы. Carpe diem может быть оправдан, когда у тебя уже есть дом-квартира-машина. Но появится ли что-то из этого при таком гусарском подходе?
