В советские времена дети развлекались как могли. Было
придумано множество игр, популярных даже сегодня: казаки-разбойники, море
волнуется
резиночки. И среди всего этого многообразия особенно выделялись различные
сокровища.
В иерархии ценностей на вершине стояли стеклянные шарики. Их
происхождение оставалось загадкой — кругляши находили во дворах и прямо на
дороге. Странные шарики обросли различными страшилками и легендами, бродившими
среди детей. Но откуда на самом деле взялись эти загадочные кругляши?
Как дети играли стеклянными шариками
Кто стал первооткрывателем кругляшей — секрет. Какие бы не
проводились обсуждения, найти ребенка, впервые обнаружившего шарики, так и не
удалось. Нет и какой-либо приблизительной даты их появления. Они просто
существовали.
Найти шарики можно было в любых местах: на улице, выменять у
знакомых, либо же произвести бартер с другом. Чаще всего кругляши находили
вблизи железнодорожных насыпей или недалеко от мест, являвшихся свалкой
неликвидной продукции со стеклозавода. Там были целые горы драгоценных
сокровищ.
Шарики выполнялись в разных цветах. Были прозрачные,
однотонные, а самые ценные — с вкраплениями. Ребятня обожала обмениваться ими,
желая получить в своё распоряжение наиболее ценные экземпляры.
Так как советские дети играли со стеклянными шариками? Среди
детворы была распространена одна забава, так и не получившая названия. Суть
проста: проделать в земле неглубокое отверстие, похожее на лунку. На определенном
расстоянии от него ставился кругляш и нужно было попасть в ямку, щелкнув по
стекляшке пальцами. Победителем становился тот, кто первым проходит отведенную
дистанцию.
Ещё из шариков делали различные украшения, использовали для
декора аквариума
происхождение кругляшей, и многие считали, что их оставляли инопланетяне,
желающие передать послание.
Тайна появления стеклянных шариков разгадана
Несмотря на все заумные и загадочные теории, реальность
оказалась до банального простой. Кругляши применяли для галтовки. Это процесс,
во время которого обрабатываются разные детали в особых барабанах.
Немного подробностей. В барабан помещали детали и туда же
засыпали шарики. После механизм приводился в действие. Стекляшки, постоянно
перекатываясь, хорошо шлифовали детали, делая их гладкими, ровными, устраняли
ржавчину. В современности в подобные барабаны сыпят различные наполнители, но
иногда используется и классический вариант с шариками.
Другое применение — это перетирание красок. Шарики засыпали
в специальные бисерные мельницы, позволяющие получать ультрадисперсные
продукты. Там с их помощью делали различные красители. Внутри устройства
крутились лопасти, постоянно мешающие кругляши. Во время соприкосновения они
буквально перетирали краску, придавая ей требуемую консистенцию.
Но в большей мере шарики появлялись на стеклозаводах. В
специальных плавильных печах варили различные вещества, начиная от кварцевого
песка, заканчивая борной кислотой. На выходе получались заготовки сферической
формы — те самые шарики. После заготовки грузили в вагоны и переправляли на
заводы, где делали стекловолокно. Там, с помощью особой технологии, кругляши
превращали в нити, из которых плелись полотна. Стекловолокно было весьма
востребовано в СССР, ведь с его помощью делали теплоизоляцию трубопроводов, а
также получали различный спортивный инвентарь — палки для лыжников, клюшки и
пр.
Откуда столько цветов?
Здесь тоже загадки нет. Сферические заготовки производили из
разных веществ, соединяя их в определенных пропорциях. Также на оттенок влиял и
используемый песок. В результате могли получиться зеленые, голубые, белые или
коричневые кругляши.
Шарики с вкраплениями или цветными полосами часто были
отработанным материалом после использования их в мельницах. Другой оттенок
приобретался за счёт взаимодействия с красящими веществами.
Почему кругляши находили вблизи Ж/Д? Тоже простой вопрос.
Заготовки загружали в вагоны и отправляли в пункт назначения. Выгрузка
осуществлялась посредством открытия нижней заслонки. Шарики выкатывались в
резервуары, но не удивительно, что некоторые из них промахивались мимо емкости.
